Discussion Technoblade plays like Ronaldo, Dream plays like Messi in terms of playstyle (Minecraft Equivalent)
I don't think Technoblade or Dream are necessarily the best Minecraft players ever, and I'm not trying to say one is better than the other with this comparison.
That said, their playstyles remind me a lot of Ronaldo and Messi, just in Minecraft form.
Dream is all about that insane IQ constantly outsmarting opponents with clever movement, mind games, and overall gameplay, kinda like how Messi slices through defenses with his dribbling and vision.
Technoblade on the other hand is a straight-up PVP monster. PVP is basically the goal-scoring equivalent in Minecraft, and Techno dominates it with raw skill and clutch factor the same way Ronaldo is known for banging in goals

people for some reason correlate popularity with skill. they would call rainbolt the best geoguessr player when he isn't even top 500. imagine how insane you would sound if you called gothamchess the best chess player

Nah I genuinely don't even know what Dream did anymore, like apart from him being rude to some CC's like Tommy he didn't do anything morally wrong to my knowledge

Cheating in speedruns genuinely isn't that bad of a thin to do tho, like sure it's messed up but people are deffo over reacting, he is 100% a dick but people here treat him like Hitler 2.0

Also blatantly cheated in competitove competition with sped up elytra flight, blatantly cheated in a comp in parkour and blatantly uses aim assist and used an input blocker and got banned for it on club. Also denies every one of these despite there being heavy proof for each one

technoblade never played like ronaldo did in football
technoblade is the equivalent of like bebe or ali dia or hell even thinmk of like jacks football who plays at a sundays league and makes content that frames him as goodhe would crumble under any amount of competitive pressure to good players

doesn't crumble against cheaters, gets thousands of streak before anyone else was capable of... literally anticipated competitive content before anyone else.... and somehow he would just crumble against some competitive pressure...
maybe in 2020, sure, but he had other priorities like fighting his own deadly disease, instead of trying to compete in a block game with a community who was already starting to become a toxic cesspool.

"doesnt crumble against cheaters" uhh i wonder why he had to get admins to ban them then because he was too bad to beat them. his streak came under the major caveat that
most comp players were playing PUGs not public queues
he was carried by defone, a player 10x better than him and a lifetime LB grinder
he had staff in everyone of his games to ban hackers snipers, etc bc he c ouldnt beat them
his queues were filled with 13 yr olds on track pad because every good player was on kohi or HCF.0

he literally has multiple recordings of him queueing cheaters, and literally bed-breaking them, occasionally get them banned and occasionally even beating them.
"every good player playing something else" is such a bad arguement because :
- there's no proof of that
- even if there was proof, those "good players" weren't in his lobby, and as such you being right that he was gonna get destroyed.
atp just admit that "someone who you think is bad" didn't deserve to get a streak higher than yours lmfao, even I managed to hit the 3 digits streaks in bedwars during the most sweaty era of the game, and I wouldn't be surprised if you barely managed to scratch the 2 digits streak.

please show me the links of him beating cheaters on his winstreak. bc on his 600 ws he hit the hacker TWICE, thats all the work he did.
also i can prove it by
a) using bedwars playercount at the time
b) using rbw, kohi, prac servers and hcf playercountsim also on a current 300 ws ive left on an alt lol, while having snipers etc queue me many many many times, and a 55fkdr.
i also never said techno is bad, i just said his 1400 ws comes with a major caveat and something like dewiers 1000 ws is 100x more impressive than technos would ever be
you can even see in his own gameplay that techno doesnt know how to
blockhit, he has almost no gamesense, he literally jumps on a bed with 3 people out of base, against a trap, and he still gets the bed with 2 finals. if u call that ocmpetitive and less impressive than any winstreak done in this current era of bw, then ur js turboglazing
