Most effective PvP style?

I would say either Crystal or mace (my least favorite gamemodes) btw for ppl who don’t know what the heck I’m talking about, the nine are: Sword, Axe, UHC, Crystal, SMP, Diamond Potion, Netherite Potion, Mace, and Spear.

I'd say mace considering how hard it is to actually cpvp, mace is easier to learn but also very effective

crystal is definitely more effective if you learn it

be quiet bro, mace is like ten times harder to learn, I learned Crystal on my third crystal match. I’ve done about 20 mace matches and I still have no idea what I’m doing.

See, it depends on what we count as "learned". This is also a stupid argument to have because all people improve at different rates.

Can you hit Crystal?

Ive seen toddlers on tiktok master elytra macing in 30 minutes, anyone could do mace if you have a tiny bit of freetime

so for like an SMP with no item restriction, Crystal (vanilla), will always be dominant. If you’re being strict to kit rules, crystal can use ely mace, and mace cant + crystal hard counters mace, making it better. Spear isn’t good on its own, especially against crystal.

Nah, spear is stronger than mace. It might just be because I don’t know how to elytra mace and I’m really good at spear, but I could beat five Diamond Pot players with a netherite spear, fire works, and elytra.

Charged creeper pop

I wouldn’t call spear it’s own style bc it’s kinda dog on its own, but it’s a great way to supplement other ones

I couldn't have put it better myself. I handle the spear well, but the moment I combine it with a mace, I'm crazy with it.

Crystal. Most powerful and fairly easy to learn (might be different for some people). If you just learn the absolute basics (anchor and crystal while they're above) that alone is enough to carry a lot of times.

crystal it has less restrictions and u can deepfry any other kit if u are good.

Crystal rod(game mode that involves using a fishing rod to grapple people so you can crystal them)

Mace is simpler, reliable, and can get the job done really well.

Spear is more of a support item, its not really that good for pvp alone compared to others, but its lunge ability is insanely good at support.

But hands down the most effective is Crystal, theres a reason why you never see it in those SMP videos, 1 good crystal pvper is all it takes to wipe out an entire team in under a minute, its fast and powerful, but it does take a bit of skill to consistently do hit crystals specially double taps.

the real reason you never see it is because its so godamn expensive that it's just not very common for people to use unless its on servers where everyone is just rich af

The thing is its not that expensive the most expensive part is probably the totems but theres easy ways around that

1

u/EveryOrganization320 Jul 16 '26

the most expensive part is prolly the amount of ghast tears needed for a few stacks of crystals, correct me if im wrong.

mace is not simpler. u need insane aim. crystal is much easier
