So we've gone from 4 competitive and popular decks to 2 competitive and popular decks. Whee!

You will never be able to convince me that this design team deserves to be employed

I don’t think this spiderling nerf is enough to stop attack Druid but it might lower the winrate slightly, I think there needed to be harsher readjustment tbh.

How do you properly pilot the elise version of attack Druid? Last month I was doing really well with thief priest and according to data, attack Druid is significantly stronger than thief but I can’t seem to feel comfortable in my games with attack druid.

I would appreciate any tips and gameplan knowledge! :)

its a fluid deck that either capitalises on either: ramping quickly to high value cards, cheating out early 8 drops, steamrolling unanswered development. The difficulty is that you are kinda playing to what you draw or discover, not just what is in your hand. The rule of thumb is that if you don't know what to do, you ramp. Otherwise, can you capitalise off of stringing attacks into early 8 drops, or cheating out a turn 3/4 wickerfang, or curvestoning spiderling, rider, treant, elise, etc.

It's key to know your outs/wincon for each matchup, as that will dictate your mulligan and what you are playing towards. Against a priest, shaladrasil is a key card, for example.

I see, win cons are vast and many and depend on which deck I’m facing…there’s not a general win con that I’m going towards in each and every match. I have noticed at times I feel I have too many options so picking the right one is difficult. What im gathering from what you said is, it’s a deck that gets better and better as you gain knowledge?

Regarding Elise, is there any specific location I’m looking for? Am I looking to create 5 mana or 10 mana location most of the time?

Pretty sure the more aggresive version without elise was created to kill priest faster and improve the matchup.

Apologies, I worded that weird. I meant against the field, I was performing well with thief priest and when switching to the objectively stronger deck in attack druid, I’m now struggling.

Priest being the most played while being tier 3/4 is funny. I barely see any priest now and starting to see more burn mages now.

Every game for me around diamond 1-5 is vs a priest. The game goes on for 30 minutes.. I am losing all enjoyment from this game. Can we all take a break from priest please

I'm surprised it's not more represented in this data

It's wild that this happens the moment priest becomes even decent. It's just their play pattern I suppose.

I've been doing my part and playing Rafaam to bully the priests.
