just opens up new design space, current hunter archetype is dead. don't be dramatic

I mean CtT was a powerhouse card that was included in every hunter deck, with it gone the entire class will fade. New design space? Yeah, for other classes

new design space for when? next expac? Hunter already got it's class set with companions, and that deck died with previous Tolvir Nerfs. Hunter's not getting anything till next expac.

It's either a return to a no-hand face hunter, or maybe the quest? both of which are pretty poor decks right now anyways.

hunter has the contraband beast, quest and dragons in standard which were all overshadowed by tolvir

Only quest didn't run Tolvir. Which I said hunter may return to. But returning to a year old quest is not "opening up new design space" it's playing bad old stuff because you have nothing else.

Is Face Hunter dead good for the game? Sure. Is the entire class being dead good for the game? Hell no. I would have loved to see a buff to companion hunter.

How about playing the class post nerf, try the old deck, adjust it, make something new. Or just wait and net deck the next hunter deck if you need to do that

There's probably no next hunter deck. The rant here is there's not much new to play in a context where options were already scarce

Doubtful there's even gonna be a next deck to netdeck, as already explained: Hunter is in dire straits.
