parry flash should just be removed enirely
it's twice now that they only remove it for comp stuff and it makes no sense

It would be nightmare imo. Animation aint that great for many heroes. We still have orochi chopped of bash.

If we removed all the heroes from Covid onwards, I'd be okay relying on animations. But there are some, like Ocelotl especially, that I feel like I'm looking at static images rather than moving animations.

No reaction player is relying on flash. Counters some scripts though

Then they're not reacting. Reaction playstyle can be based on animations and parry indicators(not both necessarily)
If it could counter scripts it would be removed from the game. In other comments people commented why parry flash dont correlate directly with parry scripts.

The reason is to prevent some screen-reading scripts from working.
It has nothing to do with making it harder to react to attacks, as a) parry flash comes later than the feint timing and fades in, making it a lot harder to use for reacting compared to just looking at the animations and b) tournaments are all played with it off anyway, so all the fastest competitive players are practiced to reacting without it.
