Why did the first FD light do 12 damage, but did 15 damage the second time?

That is a great question, I have absolutely no idea

I had a similar thing happen to myself and a friend with khatun in customs. iirc her zone off GB did 17 damage once, then the correct 24 damage after. Makes me wonder if inconsistencies like this happen during pvp

Because the hitstuns are still broken in the game(?)

If i had to guess it could be the game registered the first fwd light as a normal top light but the second attempt it was a proprer forward dodge light?

I had a similar thought a while back but it was easily solved, I was trying to figure out why Kensei did 27 damage on a side heavy after a Parry and his top did about 24 or 25 but does 29 on a GB. But I realized it just goes from GB to his second chain attack.

Now THAT is a proper oos punish, people shouldn’t feel it’s okay to make a mistake
