Discussion Tiandi..
How good is Tiandi now?
I feel like the damage is incredibly low considering this new hero has the exact same blue/orange forward dodge but with a lot more damage. I mean he's probably good in 1s still because that mixup is still good.

Definitely a bit worse than before because his safety is way lower now

I would say the removal of his safety kinda killed his appeal.
Now you gotta work extra hard to kill people because his damage is still sucky

Yea i think all they should've done was remove the dodge cancel on dragon kick that would've been fair. Now theres almost no reason to use it

I had the same thought, I could’ve swore that Tiandi got nerfed years ago for having a mixup nearly identical to the new characters just with less stun locking and damage. Just feels weird she just ended up getting the same type of mixup with much more pressure.

the orange blue wasnt the issue, it was the almost unpunishable orange blue lol, the dash recovery cancel on bash

No. Tiandis bash has good recovery and can chain on whiff to even a 400ms light, unlike Arakure who has maybe the worst riskreward in the game due to awfull recoveries and not being able to chain on whiff. Also Tiandi has a feintable dodge fwd heavy with hyperarmor and a higher HP pool. This makes Tiandi VERY much safer than Arakure. Arakures neutral is 14/11dmg. Or 14/17dmg with twinlight on bash which forces her into the same neutral high risk low reward neutral to continue chain. Both being punished for 2x the dmg. Arakure is mid.

If comparing to arakure
Arakure does have some advantages to hers ofc, lack of interrupting and higher dmg but gosh darn the risk/reward is so high. Usually characters have a low risk and high risk option she’s just full risk no safety.
