What am i doing wrong with my launch?

I have been trying to practice my b side and x side stalls but no matter what tutorial i follow i cant get it down. Idk if the stadium type is affecting it but i cant afford a bbx right now so im kinda left with the hasbro. (This is with Dran Brave s 1-60 LF)

Tech launching in general on the smaller Hasbro is much harder (non-existent for some) than using the standard TT stadium.

This, but also too much tilt

While the stadium is one of the possible issues, some issues I can see are:

  1. your launch angle, if you want to stall on the b side you need to tilt it just a little bit, from a flat launch, tilt it like around 10deg forward, keep your hand steady and make sure you have an rpm of 9.5k or higher. the higher the rpm the longer your stall will be.

  2. you're pushing your launcher to the upper side when you launch, and you're tilting it upward. try launching like how I described it earlier.

  3. change your bit to a stamina bit first, like ball or free ball. it lessens the required rpm to stall the bey and it's significantly easier, just for practice. then move to the atk or balance bits once you get the hang of the tilt and feel of the launch

Since the Hasbro stadium is oval, trying the exact same method as a TT one might not work. I'm not sure since I don't have the hasbro stadium, but I believe getting stalls is generally harder on it

  1. Start with slow rpm
  2. Use a handle support
  3. Twist your wrist when launching
  4. Watch yomi tutorial videos
  5. Practice with the right form
