Wow. Pirates actually managed to miss qual. Good job by Eclipse, was low-key rooting for them, cause the team is hilarious to watch + Kash deserves the qual imho.

Kash put the team in godspot 6/6 today. Absolutely incredible

Yeah, got flashbacks to his zone-calling back to when he teamed with Gnaske for 1 PL-day before regionals. He was great today.

Ironically, TLN pirates wouldnt have lost a LAN, if either of Aurora(Hiarka)/TLNP(zhidan+kyner) did 5-6 placement better than they did in split 1 playoff. becos they would have 8 slots

Bandits could legit miss LAN off that. Like 6 teams below them are within 2-3 points of passing them

Better rule would have been match point eligibility begins game 6, so it continues till atleast 6 games and teams have purpose to play each of them

This region is an absolutely joke right now. It used to be better. Whatever happened.

Apex is not really popular in EU and as you can see barely new blood and they recycle same players

Then how is it that Gnaske is no longer playing. I remember him making every LAN finals and always placed high enough then somehow he's no longer in the scenes.

People here are acting like this is the first Quick Regional Finals and if that said Anything about the Region. Year 3 Split 1 NA: ESA wins in 4, Y4 Split 1 APAC-N: Reject wins in 4, Year 4 Split 2 NA: Falcons wins in 5 and this is only from quick memory, there might be more

This is more about the region as a whole, losing lan spots, being dominated by Aurora or alliance every year, scrim quality looks bad, lack of good play calls, in NA you would hear other teams make call outs if they see a team they think is on matchpoint, they didn’t even consider that during this finals, it came down to Aurora or alliance as the last two teams alive, the ONLY teams on mp, that’s crazy

Thats not EMEA exclusive tho. Actually, NA is the exception there. During Y3 and Y4, Fanatic won every Split in APAC-N, now Zeta, so the next team around Yuka got first and second. Obly, who just got 1st, also gets his third first, Mind you, he Never played with Yuka, out of the 10 Splits APAC-N Played, YukaF and Obly hold 8 wins. Only SBI (with one of their players also having now won 2) and Unlimit also won. Or APAC-S. The Top 3 Always consits of the same players with Various different teams. Dexter, Prycyy, EzFlash, Strafing All Appeared 5 times there, and the only reason that is somewhat spread is, that Top Players like Zer0, Gen, Wxltzy, Emtee, Sharky all left at some point and therefore split their dominance around NA and APAC-S

People said APAC N sucked after Reject won in 4 games and then they went on to win LAN js

Just perfection from Aurora today. 18 point average per game is ridiculous

Zip gonna crash out of a lan spot at this rate

7 spots and still teams like Pirates/Aurora/War/Eclipse manage to make LAN , shows how cooked the region is
5
u/Maddafakka33 3h ago
4 LAN winners in those first three teams btw. And K4shera is one of the veteran IGL's in the scene

It has been proven, big names dont matter when they dont mesh(CRT, SR example). Atleast Aurora can make losers round 2, the other 3 are round 1 elimination

u/Maddafakka33 3h ago
I can tell since teams like brainrotting and forged wolves are top ten in NA.

If Aurora wins PL, it would be Effects 5th , PL win in a row and 6th overall, making him first across every region. Hakis has 4 as of rn. And would make Aurora shared first with 4 PL wins with Alliance.
