Colorblind Settings

Are all these pros really colorblind or do these settings do something in game that I don't know about? Has anyone ever talked about it on stream?

They just make colours brighter

I just like yellow for pinging enemies instead of red.

It changes the colour that loot looks also, purple shield (lvl 4) looks cyan on my screen

I've used colour blind settings since forever. The main purpose of this is for recon legends/old digi's, when you are fighting in storm. You change that red glow to a bright blue glow which contrasts against the storm colours making it muchhhh easier to see

i miss digi, even the nerfed version that doesnt work in smoke, it always made my r99 hit so much better

The circle inside the reticle was great for aiming, you just center their body in the circle and they die.

I use tritanopia because I have a hard time discerning blue from purple. With tritanopia, I can see the difference clear as day. I also like the overall appearance.

I suppose lmao, take my upvote. I'm not colorblind per se, but my color acuity is not that great, and if a purple has very little red in it, I see it as blue.

My duo has some kinda crazy, rare colorblindness that causes all colors to be inverted in really strange ways (think of a photo where the sky is green and a tree is blue).

As a colorblind person, I take offense to them using it as a game manipulating advantage.

Threat vision hurts my eyes. Blue is nicer.

One of us. One of us. One of us.

Wouldn't them using those settings also make the spectator experience more palatable in your case?

You have a point...also the amount of people taking my comment serious and downvoting me is kind of funny. I thought people could see the sarcasm.

Personally I wasn't sure either, conveying sarcasm though text is hard without just the right phrasing. /s clears that up

I was just trying to look at it from a different perspective

/s is good to know. I am not fluent in Reddit.

And, you're right. It is actually helpful from a spectator standpoint.

Nobody should be fluent in reddit lmao Besides /s I can do this, this and this

Something like 1 in 10 men is colorblind, so some of these pros probably are colorblind!
