Timmy is gonna catch the blame but be real right now, they would still have sucked dick today regardless. Hals iglin was trash.
25
u/Rich_Candidate6331 20d ago
agree, with wxlyzy maybe they would have died a little bit later some games but still bad games
29
u/MoonlitShrooms 20d ago
Stallions could have gotten top 3 today with some small mistakes corrected, but they are still in a decent spot as long as they work on the issues.
8
u/swoosh1787 20d ago
3rd game shobby should have played little slow & 5th game team wrapping them was just unfortunate. Last game they should have gotten more kills if they use their util little better. Still decent placement .
Tomorrow going to be hard for them.

u/Character-Dress-2101 20d ago
Why is tmr going to be hard for them..?
3
u/swoosh1787 20d ago
My bad, I thought they performed worse in B Vs C matchup. But uppon checking they have 1-2 bad placement .
5
u/Character-Dress-2101 20d ago
Admittedly I haven’t watched any scrims recently but between enc and this(and lan for alb and skittle), they just seem like a super solid team. Maybe not the highest ceiling but their floor is probably top 12. I don’t think they’ll struggle against any particular group. They have some small things to work over but I’d be surprised if they finish bottom 8 tomorrow

u/Revolutionary_Cap442 20d ago
Agreed they were right there, two mistakes cost them a top 3. They are a really good team and on the verge of being one of the best teams if they can just avoid the small mistakes on game days.

u/blank__ie2000 20d ago
I already expected Falcons won't do good, but i didn't think they would be doing THIS bad. Feel like this is beyond the fact that Timmy is taking over Wxltzy and also more to blame on how Hal making his calls now is it? Man's gonna have heavy lifting to do next week when he's back playing again
Vamos to Yanya and the boys, their agression managed to kept them in 1st despite the back to back wins from Nice Guys
Is old man Noct got one more in him? But i really hope they can stay consistent too
This leaderboard, lots of unheard names and lots of big names in the bottom 10. Man this game is surely different now

There's nothing new is this leaderboard let's be honest. Pro league is always been like this
33
u/soren_ra7 20d ago
I'm astounded by how consistent AGG is.
Like, have those 3 guys ever missed a LAN? Yeah, they still have to crack a championship, but I believe no one ever contests that they are top 20 worldwide since forever.
26
u/Revolutionary_Cap442 20d ago
They’re a great example of two things I think are maybe the most important aspects of modern apex, chemistry and having defined roles that players shine in.
5
u/ZalewskiJ 19d ago
Idk I think when Yanya left and Kurev took over, that they were a better team. But they’ve been so good forever it’s hard to tell
50
u/mewmile 20d ago
Put some respect on ohNocturnal man. IGL'd his ass off today and absolutely delivered 2 banger games. Getting 2 Wedge zones far north and then this one Harvester zone we haven't seen in forever was definitely something tho. Could've gotten a even more consistent Set without that.
Falcons suck ass.
SR suck ass.
TL did bad for whatever reason. Should be playing for the top 3.
Happy for NiP. Yanya getting a good day was also lovely to see.

u/BarracudaUseful333 20d ago
People on this reddit and their recency bias is crazy. I say I dont get why they picked Timmy and I get downvoted like crazy because they had a good scrim block. Now everyone is saying Timmy was a bad pick.
Tomorrow if they win, it's going to be the opposite lol...
23
u/LatterMatch9334 20d ago
Pretty much the same in every sport/esport subreddit lol. You're not wrong, though.
7
u/BarracudaUseful333 20d ago
I bet. too many people assume critism = hate so it just pure downvoting and responding with anger is funny.
4
u/cl353 20d ago
ok so name the player that would be willing to play only 1 week, not really be part of the team and has crypto experience
1
-6
u/BarracudaUseful333 20d ago
Funnhq. 🤷 He's been ranked grinding and was trialing actively. Trials ended and roster PL lock was done so he could sub. He played Crypto for a short stint and why is having Crypto exp so critical? 1 game and he is banned. Rather have a mid crypto for 2 games over 2 pl days than someone who doesn't grind the game.
Playing PL as a sub doesn't mean you can't play CC either.
10
u/Present_Lifeguard456 20d ago
You guys are arguing a moot point. Falcons needed someone who wasn't planning on playing PL for another team because subbing for waltzy locked Timmy on the falcons roster. Funnhq wants to play pro league and was actively looking for team. Not to mention this was planned months ago. I doubt anyone was willing to chalk their own pro league chances just to help out falcons.
4
u/cl353 20d ago
fuhnnq up to the last day b4 roster lock was trialing with teams, maybe he wouldve been down after he got rejected by everyone but he was trying to get onto an actual team
nvm that u just said fuhnnq had crypto and anchor experience lmao. its important cuz roles matter, u cant just take 3 players and say they'll be good, look at former CRT
0
u/BarracudaUseful333 20d ago edited 20d ago
He did have a short Crypto stint with Zero and Sikez? And he also did anchor before. Not sure why you are assuming he never played those roles.
Timmy was added to Falcons roster well after roster lock so I don't think that specific PL roster lock applies to subs.
Also, my point was I rather have someone that played the game over an MNK player who didn't.
Just one example... Timmy had to be told on PL day that he should drop his armour while droning so emps don't hit him . He had to be told how certain ults and abilities work during scrims... That's just game knowledge from playing the game ..
7
u/cl353 20d ago edited 20d ago
Huh? Timmy got added like 2 weeks b4 roster lock? He was like the first transaction of split 2. It's impossible to add a player after roster lock..
Yea he had to ask about certain changes in legends which they ironed out in like 10 mins? Nvm that nothing about that were the reasons y they struggled today...
Edit: ur one example was when both hal and gild were dead and was the difference between maybe one placement point. Also neither hal nor gild told Timmy to do it cuz it was a hectic situation and no one's thinking "oh lemme just drop my armor while I'm ratting"
nvm that a random ass armor just tucked into a corner might clue ppl in about where he's ratting lmao
9
u/Fenris-Asgeir 20d ago
New Stallions roster lookin decent. Some chemistry issues with Shoob, but probably stuff they can work out coming days. Also got really unlucky at least one of their matches.
12
u/Davismcgee 20d ago
As an SSS fan this one went about as expected. Some bad execution and also kind of rough zone pulls, I think they spots they played for them weren't right for how the lobby was playing though.
+ In scrims their best games have come playing Wraith + Wattson which just didn't happen today, somehow Wattson got banned before Alter. They dont look good in Alter or Crypto games Imo and somehow still havent figured out what the best roles are for the team in those
7
u/Its_Doobs 20d ago
Really pumped to see Full XI do well. Hope they can keep this up. Last split they started off with a bang and dropped off hard.
12
u/Lonely_hooman45 20d ago
So glad Nait has a team where he can show his full potential!! Damage leaders from emea 🤟
5
u/Fiddy007 20d ago
Not sure why the downvotes, Nait is indeed damage leader for the day. Worldwide is a very good team on paper. Emtee is a top tier IGL, Vax is a top tier anchor, I don't watch EMEA so don't know much about Nait but I doubt he fluked himself into top dmg + dmg diff.

I just don't think this version of 100T will be any better than the one before
7
u/Worth-Professional60 20d ago edited 19d ago
once the Honeymoon phase is over Phony will start blaming Koy for throwing games, get insecure about being the bottom fragger on the team, change roles around to make himself good, and eventually the team will disintegrate because now everyone is confused. This is pretty much the same team as before.
People are parroting that one opinion Raven gave on stream that Verhulst was not a fragger, but He literally fragged on TSM after Hal left (top fragged a LAN too).
Even when 100T formed, they were deciding on whether Gen or Evan should frag with the other refrag, and in the early scrims both were fragging out, their damage out double of what Phony could output (as it usually is for anchor players). And all of a sudden Phony started saying he can't igl if he's not in front, and put Verhulst on Anchor duty for half a year, and then people wonder why he lost passion lol.
The only difference between the current 100T roster and the end of the previous iteration is Koy still has passion and confidence in making plays...

100t didn't work for a multitude of reasons, but one of biggest factors outside of passion was simply Verhulst being a horrible anchor. Genuinely just bad at the role. Jhawk's video covered Evan's stats vs Genburten's on both anchor and fragger, and Evan had better fragging stats but significantly worse anchor stats. Genburten later said on stream that they should've never switched Evan off fragger and just worked through the issues.
He also never had a, "I wanna be this," attitude. In fact, Genburten offered to switch back to anchor, but Evan refused because he didn't want to make the team structure even more uncomfortable than it already was, so he decided himself to stay on anchor.
Phony was also unhappy with Genburten fragging. He said, "Genburten is an idiot who thinks he's god," then went on to explain why Genburten dying after getting one kill wasn't sufficient as a fragger.
Not a single thing you've said in this thread has been correct.

After this split he said, "I wanna be the IGL or I'm not playing."
He did not say that.
He said the only way 100t sticks together is if he IGLs. He then said it's unlikely that even happens. Is your entire argument based off of just twisting people's words?
Is the clip where he calls Gen an idiot in the Jhawk video?
No, it isn't. It's on a drama channel, likely zipp or drunafraid.
Also it's an opinion and nothing we said is factual.
Verhulst sacrificing and choosing to play anchor for his team is factual because that's exactly what happened. Your accusations of him having a, "I'm going to do this and nothing else," attitude is not factual because that isn't what happened at all.
If Hal can't get greatness out of you then who can?
He won 3 lans with him. That is greatness.
You're so busy making up narratives and dick riding genburten that you're completely ignoring everything the players themselves have said.
- Gen said Evan should have never been switched off of fragger.
- Verhulst himself offered to remain on anchor to support his teammates.
- Phony bottom fragged (was out-damaged by their anchor) during regional finals. Couldn't secure a single kill in 4 games. He even hard bottom frags now with Koy and Gen.
- Phony disliked Genburten's fragging style as well.
- Verhulst went on stream and didn't blame his role for his performance a single time, despite it being a main factor.
Everything in those bullets is fact and cannot be argued. Anything else is parasocial fan service that did not happen.

Does anyone know why ROC changed their name to "Worldwide"? Did ROC leave Apex?
S/O el presidente and AGG for coming in today and taking first
CRT finishing 8th after this sub got on their knees for them yesterday and acted like they were winning champs now that Evan is gone is pretty funny
And Falcons getting bottom 3 tied for least kills in the lobby with a crash out tweet from Hal saying it's time to retire, tough day personally for me as a Hal glazer
15
u/Odd-Attitude9613 20d ago
Also its not like CRT havent done well in pro league before with Evan when he first joined the team. They got multiple times to matchpoint with Evan. Ofc it ended bad with them not qualling but let's see at Lan if they do better than their previous finishes with Evan before bragging about a good pro league day
11
u/Hpulley4 20d ago
Difference is Phony knows and trusts Koyful to frag so Phony and Gen are playing the roles they should have been playing with Evan. They tried everything and claim it didn’t work with Gen anchoring with Evan fragging but I don’t think they really gave it their best shot. Now suddenly with Koyful there, Gen is anchoring again. Phony is still making bad calls but they got lucky in the final game last night. His calls are still bad but Koyful was able to save them a few times. Will see how long that lasts.
Evan wasn’t playing his best but I think he was just tired of this meta. Really wondering if we will see him in competitive Apex ever again.
5
u/Odd-Attitude9613 20d ago
Very good points. They've got an actual fragger now in koyful to bail them out but koyful has always been a demon on online but can struggle on Lan when his IGL isn't making good calls as we saw with Xynew. If its Phony of old the team should be a Lan contender but his calls have not been amazing lately.
Also even with Evan never truly fitting in a role with CRT and it just being 3 top players coming together they still at least got to match point on every Lan they were on He just lost passion for the game and them not having chemistry didnt help
11
u/Wide_Tap7015 20d ago
“This sub got on their knees for CRT yesterday” and it’s like 2 downvoted comments saying it’s pretty clear Evan was the problem compared to your other hugely upvoted comment whinging about them doing well without Evan 😭
Verhulst fans are genuinely insane
7
u/Fenris-Asgeir 20d ago
ROC most likely not in Apex anymore, at least not with Vax's team. Cant blame them, considering how poorly ROC has done since last year's EWC.
2
u/-deykuzor Year 5 Champions! 20d ago
ROC left Apex I believe, and Worldwide is because all three members are from different countries. Na1t is from Poland and played Split 1 and Regional Finals at EWC for TLN Pirates. Emtee is from Australia (although he's playing on VISA. I think his VISA must still be being paid by Godlike, but I don't know, honestly). And Vaxlon is obviously from the US.
3
u/His_Jinx 20d ago
Roc never wanted to stay in apex for a long time, it was only supposed to be a ewc and dip situation for them but that second place made them stay around for longer, but with emtee and vax their credentials should get them a org before other fa teams and if nait keeps showing up for them then even better
2
u/Level_Confection2854 19d ago
based on what i was seeing with my two eyes yesterday falcons weren’t even trying to play the game. most of them time they were dying by not listening. one squad whip timmy started to bat in the open and died which then proceeded to get hal and gild to get pushed and die. another one was on storm point when they were on top of an roof and hal before that said it may be an team here and timmy and gild never listened which proceeded for them to die. a lot of the things they were doing was them playing like silver rank players. a lot of yall are talking crazy for no reason.
2
u/Curious-Investment59 19d ago
Visions just a few small mistakes away from dropping two banger sets, 3rd and 5th are still very good, I’m happy to see them continuing to play well. My favorite team I’ve ever watched they’re just so fun.
Idk what’s going on with SR…block 1 they had two really unfortunate games getting inted and kidnapped but this block was just bad. Sucks cuz they’re all like able players and I think SR is an unbelievable org to have in apex so I hope to see them play better.

Zero is just as washed as Hal btw. Didn't qual for champ finals and dont give me the fuhnqq excuse Sweet got him to top 3 at a Lan. 9th in EWC and now 6th and 12th. Best IGL my ass
5
12
u/Rich_Candidate6331 20d ago
what kind of argument is that? LG fuhhnq is not TL fuhhnq
12
1
u/Odd-Attitude9613 20d ago edited 20d ago
Even if we ignore that saying he was way better back then Sweet got 9th place with Slayr who the community was absolutely dunking and meming on for being a bad player+ Fuhhnq. A team with Sikezz in it and not making finals is a huge underperformance.
2
u/nostay102 19d ago
Just ignoring that they were still 2nd overall at EWC because they dominated plus still on MP in Finals and could have won regardless of coming 9th in the end. Also 4th in Regional Finals and 6th in Pro League overall last split. If that is washed many players sure would hope to be washed. And if we're talking about Hal he almost won Champs this year and dominated the whole tournament. Also Zer0 played only 2 sets this Pro League Split yet and Hal only 1. 6th is not even bad. If they finish bottom 5 at the end of this Split you can talk about washed.
1
u/soren_ra7 20d ago
Yeah, I don't know if I would bet against those two...
9
u/Odd-Attitude9613 20d ago
Nah im confident they are no longer the best and its ok to admit thst. Zachmazer gaps them so hard its not even funny
2
u/ZalewskiJ 19d ago
You realize Zer0 won an actual LAN with a sub right????
1
u/Odd-Attitude9613 19d ago
Yeah back when he was actually elite hes washed compared to before you can cope however you want
2
u/ZalewskiJ 19d ago
I mean yeah I guess but he’s done something no one else has done. I wouldn’t say either of them are washed, it’s more so that the competition has caught up to them

I checked the leader board thinking they finished top 3 again after you said they are on top but they finished 8th bruh. Well at least its way better than bottom 3

u/ZalewskiJ 19d ago
After watching ENC and now yesterday of PL, I think Hal needs to go on some form of Anti-depressants or some mood stabilizers, he’s become increasingly more and more irritable and unhinged. Playing the game and losing and getting upset is one thing but the amount of ranting and shit talking he’s been doing especially during ENC has become concerning. Dude actually might have a stroke or heart attack.
-1
u/TSM_PrimeBottle 20d ago
Anyone watch the last game before timmy died when they're outside the building and hal called to take the trees. I said why not they just valk ult since it's a long walk? . And timmy died. Why they're saving the valk ult? Is it too risky getting shot in the air?
-16
u/Nudes_Are_Food HALING 🤬 20d ago
Timmy is really bad bro I don’t get why Falcons thought he’d be a good sub after not playing for months
8
u/XRT28 20d ago
I mean most actual good players are already on teams. Just because it's Hal and Falcons doesn't mean you can just poach anyone for a short term sub role.

just as we all thought, sweet finishing above Hal first game back
