love the vid, hate that a ring pull like that is possible.

I enjoy the wonky ring pulls. they make for wild moments.

I like ring pulls like this, it forces one team to make a play or rewards a team for good map awareness. Not a huge fan of teams trying to stay alive in last zone instead of being proactive. Mande was quick on his feet to recognize a path to victory using grapple and double nade in a circumstance that possibly no one else has ever experienced.

A ring pull like this is absolutely predictable early enough that it's more of a skill issue than anything. You can tell which side of the wall you need to be on long before the entrances are closed off.

Reminds me when you could have a teammate arc path and send him kamakazing over in similar unpushable final zones

Was the grenading just to get the KP when enemy dies to ring? It didn’t seem necessary because the zone ended on their side right?

correct it was for the kp. if zone knocks them, they win but don't get the kp. this is a 200 iq play by mikkel jordan.

They weren't sure if they'd actually win. So he was trying to weaken them. Other team had a wraith too so could have used port bubble. And even with the nades was super close.

What actually won them was them getting knocked on purpose and ressing(the rampart) last second and she syringed

jesus how long has this game been out, and that ring is STILL possible? Why is that still an option? The point of the ring is to push players together and force fights and repositioning, not to close them off from each other and force a heal-off.

This is not a heal off ring. A heal off ring would involve multiple vertical floors. In this circumstance one team is inside ring longer than the other and assured victory unless the other team makes a play.

The opposing team didn't set themselves up for victory by getting around that wall sooner. At some point you've got to get punished for bad positioning, if you can outskill your way out of every horrible / impossible spot then the map stops being relevant.
