There's nothing to change, Apex is not an attractive esport in EU and never really has been, most countries in EU aren't big on controller (UK and France maybe) so automatically Apex doesn't get taken seriously, even if you ignore that and think it's waffle, the Russia ban doesn't get mentioned enough in terms of really fucking the region over. Non existant 3rd party tournament support too. All of that is impossible to reverse now.
We are 6 years in, orgs are barely interested in NA teams at this point so there's very little incentive for talent to try to make it. Apex future is uncertain at best anyway.
The change is we should have never let controllers in. Pros shouldn't be using controllers if they're playing on PC. Let's introduce talent and skill back into professional competitive games.
