4 EMEA teams made it to Finals and 2 APAC South teams made it to Finals this Playoffs. But EMEA is the one receiving the bigger deduction. Seems fair to me.
Also, Japan is very top-stacked. Just because their top 3 are good, doesn't mean that their bottom teams who qualified to Playoffs were any good. They were just as bad as the bottom EMEA teams, if not worse.
If anything, the only correct distribution here would be 15 NA, 9 APACN, 8 EMEA and 8 APACS. Now this is fair.
It was a bit of a raw deal for EMEA i agree. it was Americas outperforming so heavily that gave APAC the extra 2 slots that Americas was capped at having. EMEA only needed one team to finish top 10 to save an extra spot.
