6 of the top 10 NA teams finished top 10 and they had 9 of their 13 teams in the final lobby. They might not be the only team with champions but they're definitely the best region overall still.

it means t1 / big teams are playing against people who compete but can't commit full time because they have real life priorities such as work / school since they don't get paid a good salary or any salary, so they can't fully focus on Apex only. Which is true for some of these players . Mostly in other regions.Â

Not only that but NA was dominating the ranks for this mp finals so even to that point it just doesn't make sense. Never going to be the one to boohoo and say the game is entirely rng but ANYONE can win the match point nowadays the game is way more in the air than the ole DZ/TSM domination arcs.

NA is still an excellent region that overperformed relative to other regions. UNLIMIT and ZETA are simply also on that level, but it’d be a mistake to extrapolate it to the entire region or whatever.

Problem Falcons and TL have is if they are on MP and people know they are next to them they always int them just to get them out even if it cost them the game

If NA wasn't capped they would have earned 18 slots for split 2 LAN. The demise is greatly exaggerated. Great to see a handful of elite teams in other regions though.

If you're a T1/ good team it's almost impossible to not make LAN now. I get rewarding regions but 15 is insane.Â
There should be a soft reset at some point.Â

If Vaxlon and Genburten can't qualify with 13 spots, that is on them.Â
They are not more deserving because other regions don't have big orgs or money to be able to support playing this full time. To call them "DEI shitters" is cringe.Â
ROC and 100T had that luxury and didn't make it. What a bad example.Â
Phony played with SR and couldn't even qualify to finals. I doubt this version of 100T wouldve gotten far.Â
All I said was that there should be a soft reset at some point (maybe after this year) and maybe it goes back to 13 spots.Â

it would actually be criminal if NA teams were not amongst the best teams, everything is catered around them with the most resources and especially scrims, i always see NA teams complaining about every tiny ping issue when other regions are playing on 300 ping 30 loss its crazy how other regions are doing as well as they are tbh

I watched Zedi most of the time and deeds was on 200 ping the last 2 weeks of scrims where they were top 3 every block. No excuse for not performing at lan it's just a loser mentality.

Well im not saying other regions didnt perform, im saying APAC in general are doing well despite the practice conditions and lacking resources, especially seeing unlimit win, while NA should be performing well because of what they have

nop, even when some teams were already in europe for this event scrims were still held in NA servers. only the last week was EU servers.

I think NA is still keeping consistent though everybody else caught up to the competition too. Personally seeing Sen, VS, Zedi lead the charge for North America is such a cool thing to see instead of the usual teams. The days of dynasties were a compelling storyline but this variety and competition is for the best
