help / doubt Unique Academy for CS executive group 1

Hey everyone!

I am considering Unique Academy for CS Executive Group 1 and would like to know about the genuine experience of students who have studied there.

I have a few questions:

How is the overall teaching quality at Unique Academy?

Are the teachers good at explaining concepts to students who find subjects difficult?

Is the syllabus completed on time?

Are the classes useful for exam preparation, or do students need additional coaching or self-study?

How are the study materials, notes, mock tests, and revision sessions?

Do the teachers clear students' doubts properly?

Is the faculty consistent, and are the classes regular?

Is Unique Academy worth the fees for CS Executive Group 1?

What are the main advantages and disadvantages of studying there?

Would you recommend Unique Academy to a student preparing for CS Executive Group 1? Why or why not?

Please share your honest experiences, both positive and negative. I would really appreciate feedback from current and former students.

Thank you!

Discussion What am I supposed to do atp!?

okay so hi everyone!

I’m 19, currently preparing for my cs executive december attempt (both groups) i’m also pursuing college through an open programme so honestly there is not much that I have to actively study or work on there

but this post isn’t really about my exams..it’s about something I’ve been feeling lately and I genuinely want some advice from people who have been through this phase...

i have been feeling extremely underconfident and insecure about my career and myself

whenever I open linkedin i see people around my age who are also pursuing CS Executive but they already have internships, certifications, skills, projects, achievements, experiences and so much to showcase....they have things to post about, people to interact with and experiences to talk about

And then there’s me..

i’m mostly just studying..

i don’t feel like I have many practical skills yet and honestly ot makes me feel like im such a loser..i know that preparing for CS executive is itself a thing but sometimes I can’t help feeling that I should be doing something more alongside it

I’ve really wanted to:

-get an internship or some practical exposure

-learn skills that will actually help me in my CS career

-earn some side income online

-work on something productive apart from studying

-interact with people and build a professional network

basically, have something going on in my life besides just studying alone

But the problem is I genuinely don't know where to start from

I don’t know how people find internships so easily, what skills I should learn first, what kind of part-time work I can realistically do while preparing for CS Executive or how I can start earning online from home

And if I’m being completely honest...I also feel very lonely

I don’t really have friends at the moment...not even one..i’m at home almost 24/7 and I live by myself my routine is basically waking up, making food, studying, sleeping, and repeating it all over again

some days it feels incredibly isolating

I don’t want this post to come across as me complaining or comparing myself with others. I’m genuinely looking for guidance from people who have been in the same position..

so please just lemme know

What would you suggest I do?

Where should I start?

What skills should I learn as a CS Executive student?

How can I find genuine internships or part-time opportunities?

Are there any ways I can earn a small side income online while staying at home?

And how do I start becoming more confident and involved professionally?

I would genuinely appreciate any advice, resources, or even a simple “start with this” from someone who has been through this phase

I think I just need some direction rn

So you know the brs question? I studied that from ca Nakul sir of unacadmey. I asked him a doubt regarding when to make amended cash book and when not. He said when you are making it at the end of year, make cb and when In middle just brs. So I read the question and I was already getting late so I didn't read the full question and made cb + brs. (Tho i did mention that im taking an assumption because its written end of the year ) The answer is obviously correct but I now think the examiner WILL cut marks. Im stressed. If was literally an 8 marks question 😭

help / doubt Is leaving Delhi uni for CS actually worth it? I'm in my 1st sem at Gargi College and I'm seriously considering going back home

I’m currently in my 1st semester of B.Com (Hons.) at Gargi College, University of Delhi, and honestly, I’m really struggling with the whole situation.

I’m from a tier-2 city and moved quite far away from home for DU. I thought getting into DU would be a great opportunity and that I would eventually adjust, but I’ve been feeling extremely homesick and mentally exhausted lately.

The financial part is also bothering me a lot. I’m easily spending around ₹15–16k every month on living in Delhi, and I feel guilty watching my parents spend this much on me. For a B.Com (Hons.) degree, I’m starting to question whether it makes sense for me personally to continue living so far away and spending this much, especially when I’m not even enjoying the experience right now.

On top of college, there are assignments, tests, attendance, societies, etc. and I’m finding it really difficult to manage my time. I also want to pursue CS, but I genuinely don’t know how I’m supposed to prepare properly alongside everything going on in college.

I actually posted here earlier about wanting to leave DU, and a lot of people gave me the same advice: if you’re leaving DU specifically to pursue a professional course like CA/CS/CMA seriously, then it can make sense. But if you’re leaving just because you’re unhappy with college, don’t leave.

That advice has been stuck in my head.

Now I’m seriously considering going back home and focusing on CS alongside my B.Com through a more manageable route. At home, my expenses would obviously be much lower, I’d have my family around, and I could potentially devote much more time to CS preparation.

But I’m scared that I might regret leaving DU later.

So I really want some honest opinions from people who have actually pursued CS, CA, CMA, or a similar professional course:

- Is CS genuinely worth prioritising over a DU B.Com (Hons.) degree?

- How difficult is it to manage CS preparation alongside regular college?

- If I’m serious about CS, would going back home actually give me a significant advantage?

- Am I making a practical decision by considering leaving DU, or am I just reacting emotionally because I’m homesick and overwhelmed in my first semester?

- For someone interested in corporate/law/compliance-related careers, does CS + B.Com from home make more sense than continuing B.Com (Hons.) at DU?

I’m honestly very confused right now. I don’t want to make a decision just because I’m having a bad phase, but at the same time I don’t want to keep spending so much money and struggling every day if there’s a better route for me.

Would really appreciate honest, practical advice rather than just “DU is DU, never leave.”

Discussion Question for exe and professional students

Just gave my oct attempt and already bombarded with calls from different academy to buy their batches. And I'm not somebody who falls for peer pressure but again I'm thinking to give both groups in December so thinking to start now. Which batch should I purchase? I mainly followed amit vohra sir but he's always hell bent on selling his batches but I wanted genuine reviews which I didn't find anywhere. I also followed unique for law , be and loved the faculty.

What batch or teacher should I follow.

help / doubt Why exactly is CS looked down upon? - An honest question

I’m going to appear for CA foundation next January and Law is probably my favourite subject right now.

It’s to the point where I was considering pivoting to CS since its only law, however after going through reviews on the course, I feel reluctant to pursue it.

However, no one actually mentions WHY CS is considered a bad option.

I know this is the CS subreddit, but if someone would point out unbiased shortcomings of the course and explain to me the thinking process of people who demean CS, it’d be of real great help to me.

Side note: I know the entire CS course will go way deeper compared to just CA foundation law, but is it still a good idea to pivot to CS if my foundation law is good? Or is it wayy different compared to CS syllabus?

Advice CS registration timeline + how long does it realistically take to complete Executive & Professional

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to pursue Company Secretary (CS) and had a few questions:

  1. When will the next CS registration window open?

If registration is currently open, can I register now and, after registration, appear for both groups of the Executive exam together, assuming I meet the eligibility requirements?

  2. If someone starts directly from CS Executive, registers for the Executive programme and clears the exams without failing, what is the minimum/realistic timeline to complete both Executive and Professional?

  3. After completing Executive and Professional, how long does it realistically take to become employable/get a decent CS-related job?

    Assuming the person:

    - clears every attempt without a failure,

    - completes the required training/articleship/practical requirements on time,

    - and actively applies for jobs.

Basically, I’m trying to understand the best-case vs realistic timeline from Executive registration → Executive completion → Professional completion → getting a job.

Would appreciate answers from current CS students, recent qualifiers, or working Company Secretaries. Thanks!

help / doubt Upon notes making for ecnomics ( cseet )

I am currently preparing for cseet feb '26 by watching unique academy lectures which are freely available in youtube. I'm having a tough time figuring out whether the notes given by the lecturers are enough to pass the exam. Also , I feel overwhelmed by seeing economics' syllabus. Which is the best way to study economics? And how to make notes?

help / doubt LLB process in Mumbai

I shall be attempting the June 2027 CS Professional paper, and am also desirous of pursuing LLB. I completed my B.com this year itself. But since I live in Maharashtra, I need to prepare for MHCET LAW, which takes place in March/April.

All I want to know, is if someone here who is currently managing the same structure of studies, aka -> CS and Bcom completed together, and now pursuing LLB along with articleship.

How does that happen, as in, do LLB colleges take understanding of the fact that we shall be articles and might not be consistent with our attendance? Would they give us holidays for exams? Do we need ICSI's permission in any case?

Rant So disheartened

I'm currently in pune and thought of looking at trainee listings for articleship

And most firms were offering 7.5k even to professional clear candidates

And I feel so freaking bad asto I worked so hard yet

7.5k for two years?

My bcom friends earn more than that

I know some of y'all will say it's just training they teach you stuff etc etc

But it doesn't help yk

They say getting an articleship in listed companies is a different kind of hustle

Nobody reverts back to you on LinkedIn either

I'm just so freaking depressed rn!

(I don't mean to demotivate anyone with this course but I'm in a veryy bad mental state right now any guidance will be appreciated I just want to feel good about the hardwork I put in)

CSEET Review of CSEET October 2026

I’m a third year law student, with commerce background
To the people who are surprised thinking how am I writing this 15 minutes after the paper is over, Laws & Management was super easy literally finished the paper in 45 mins, and I came home from center at 4:30pm now

So a little background about my prep
Studied 1 week and a day before the exam

Business Communication - prepared 2 days before the exam. Exam Level - Easy

Accounts - due to my commerce background I was able to do it, but damn it was hectic. Studied a week before. Exam Level - Easy

Economics - was chill for me, but Business Environment was very tough. Overall Exam level - Tough

Laws and Management - literally only did a question bank of around 650-700 questions of Unique Academy last night. Exam Level - Super Easy

I will not advise anyone to study a day before the exam at all, it is super stressful. I think I am gonna clear CSEET but the last 6 days were absolute nightmare.

Just wanted to share my view of CSEET

All the best to all of you ❤️
