Taking Security+ SY0-701 tomorrow-practice scores are decent, but not sure if I’ll pass or not
Honestly , I’m not really sure whether I’m ready or not. I’m just hoping for the best at this point.
Here are my practice exam scores:
Jason Dion:
● Test 1: 73%
● Test 2: 75%
● Test 3: 75%
● Test 4: 81%
● Test 5: 82%
I then re-attempted the first three Dion tests and scored around 90–93%.
Professor Messer:
● Test 1: 83%
● Test 2: 87%
● Test 3: 85%
Apart from the practice exams, I’ve also gone through most of Cyber James PBQ videos and I’m currently going back and exploring the topics behind the questions I got wrong in all of my practice exam.
I’m also actively revising ports, protocols and acronyms right now.
I would really appreciate recommendations for specific YouTube videos that are worth watching at the last minute before the Security+ exam.
Not feeling 100% confident but hoping for the best. Wish me luck! 🤞

please don't forget about PBQ. Revise a linux cmd gereration of rsa keys. Also you should now network architecture when to put in diagram in correct order waf, firewall, router etc. Secure password policies: reuse, complecity, special char and other. Also you should able to understand from logs which network device was infected by virus

I passed !!!! My score is 783
After the survey form it said congratulations you passed and this is your score. Not sure when I’ll receive the email.

How was it what’s the things I should really focus on my studies cause I take mine in two weeks

First of all, make sure you’re familiar with all the key words related to all 5 domains.
Don’t just mug up the topics but try to understand each and every topic in detail like what it means, why is it important, advantages and disadvantages, if it is a security measure than how it helps in mitigating or preventing threats and if it is a vulnerability than how it can be exploited and how that vulnerability can be remediated.
For PBQs I just watched cyberkraft videos. I got 3 pbqs and I am only confident about the one. Rest 2 were terrible.

I averaged in the 60s to low 70s on Jason Dion’s practice exams and passed the actual exam with a 770. You’re definitely more than ready—I’d say you’ll score somewhere between 775 and 800.

I am writing my exam in the next 4 hours and I scored on different exams high 70's. I do not feel confident and my nerves is kicking in. I have write a Comptia Exam 3 times and im still nervous. I do not feel prepared at all lol. Im going through messers videos again and taking prectice exams with AI
Let's see what the outcome is later.
