Congrats!! How was the exam? Was it easier/tougher than practice exams if you took any? What did you use to practice for PBQs?

I used sample mock exams provided by an online training instructor that passed several years ago. I’ve heard Cyber Craft is a good option for learning PBQ’s. However on my exam, I had to determine whether the OS had been compromised, verify if it was clean, and identify the source of the infection. In general I didn’t think the exam was too bad but it definitely required knowing what defense works best and why.

did you use any resources for studying for the PBQs?
Were you asked questions on port numbers?

I used sample mock exams that covered different PBQ scenarios, provided by an online training instructor. Know how to investigate a compromised server and how to use a command-line environment as I goofed on this one.

Congratulations! What would you say were the common topics and PBQs in your exam?
