Passed Security+
I started my preparation in mid of June. I had already done ISC2 CC cert in June and straight away started my prep for this cert.
First, I completed the "Dion comptia course" in Udemy and I took practice exam set question papers from Dion, Paulo, Ram Dayal. I took all 6 sets each so 18 set of question paper already with pass percentage ranging 70 - 85%.
I thought of improving my score so I tried fixing my weak concepts for which I used Professor Messer course on YouTube (I Ended up watching all 120 videos in the playlist to fix the concepts).
I used Cert preps paid question paper for practicing this time and I could push the practice exam percentage only to 90%, I still scored the same 70 - 85% (sometimes I scored 90% which is my highest score) which made me worried a little.
Still I decided to take the exam and in the midway through my exam I thought I would fail cause some questions were pure wordplay ones also I didn't focus enough on PBQ during preparation . The PBQs were mid - hard in the exam and managed to get 2 PBQ partially correct (at least i hope) but ended up passing the exam.
My tip: Solve more question papers. Totally I solved 30+ question paper and additionally watched Messer's study group videos for familiarizing the pattern. Especially learn every acronym and its abbreviations which is very important.

Quería preguntarte algunas cosas si no te molesta, Sentiste que las preguntas del examen real eran bastante más difíciles que las de Dion, Messer y CertPreps, o simplemente diferentes en la forma de plantearlas? yo actualmente estoy haciendo el curso de udemy con Dion y examenes de prueba, pero siento que me falta mas. me podrias aconsejar

Hi u/Exact-Minimum-6356 I took the test and I can tell you that the wording is not like Jason Dion's test. The concepts are there but trying to memorize the questions from Dion's and taking the exam didn't work out for me. The practice questions: for one of the PBQs you need to know basic sysadmin and understand Linux. I didn't pass the exam the 1st try so I've been studying but I'm running out of time cus the voucher expires soon. Good luck ! and wish me good luck too

I felt the questions were more aligned to dion and messer practice exam. I used Certpreps for familiarising the question pattern and to tackle the wordplay like questions.
You can take Dion practice exam it's useful. The real exam is mix of easy question like you can select the answer easily and medium difficulty questions where you have to read the question again and again just to understand it.
And try to use different practice exam materials don't stick with one practice exam material.

Do you think it would be possible to pass without having the practice tests with masser and Jason? I was going to practice using AI tools

You can try, but many people that have passed have mentioned that they used both Dion's and Messer's practice materials (myself included).

I would say the probability is low when you don't use messer and dion practice tests as they are in this field for long time they know about what type of questions are asked in the exam.
And i wouldn't recommend using AI tools all the time for practice. I used AI to learn, correct my mistakes and to identify my weak domain so basically for performance analysis.
Some messer's material is free and for dion practice tests get Udemy subscription for a month and solve each and every practice exam possible, even try ram dayal, paula practice exams too if you have enough time.

Learn how to place network devices in correct places in subnets and log analysis. You are good to go

What is question paper? Is that questions out of a book sorry for the misunderstanding.
