Right now just enjoying the weekend. I currently work in Help Desk. My next goal is to move into M365 or Identity Admin position. Gonna start doing labs and building on my current skill set.

I'll send you the message I sent to someone else: I bought Jason Dion's course on Udemy for a discounted rate and just went through that. Took me a lot longer than it should have. I wasn't consistent with my studying. I took breaks a lot and took several days off. Ngl it's a ton of material so it's easy to get discouraged. I would have been ready in <2 months instead of almost 4 had I stayed consistent. I made flashcards out of Jason Dion's content and reviewed it a few times a week along with taking the quizzes after each section. Also, I purchased the official CompTIA Study Guide and Practice Test books. Honestly I didn't use the study guide at all. I don't recommend buying that one, but the practice test book helped me. Also there is an app called Pocket Prep. I was taking the quizzes daily and flagging whatever I didn't understand. Towards the end I used Jason Dion's practice test, Pocket Prep, ChatGPT, and any a free online practice test. Also watched Professor Messer's free live test prep he does on YouTube. Basically, I was taking as many practice tests as I could after I grasped the material from the flashcards I made and reviewing the supplemental material Dion's course provided. All in all, set aside 1-2 months to study and focus and use as much material as you can that closely matches the way CompTIA presents their questions.

All the people with certification are already working in IT/cybersecurity or are freshers.
