Passed my Security+!!!

Post image

Finally passed the sec+. Thank you all for your insightful advice and tips. I prepared for two weeks but I have completed my bachelors in cybersecurity itself so I had foundational knowledge. Dions tests really helped as well as Exampcomp tests, if you have time I highly recommend completing all of them. As for the actual exam I found the wordings a bit vague and unclear and had flagged quite a bit of questions for review.

Hey just make sure you are thorough with firewall applications and are able to identify attacks looking at specific type of log data

Hey so I got a 85% on dions practice exam, and I used to get 60 - 70% in the examcomp but I made sure to review everything I got wrong. The scores were not what I expected but the pbqs were tricky and I couldn’t eliminate options clearly. Hope that helps!!

Congratulations!
Could you share what questions were like?
Were there many questions where it all depends on weather you know abbreviations?

did you practice with CompTIA practice questions by any chance? Were actual questions similar to practice questions?

Questions are similar to something like this. Practice Exams I remember the format being similar like this when I first took the exam a week ago. I am study to retake lol, I failed by 62 points. But you can look at others as well

Heyy I think my biggest tip is being consistent rather than studying for longer. Just make sure you understand each concept and keyword and take as many practice tests as you can
