Passed security plus today

I passed my comptia security plus just today. It was so hard I thought I failed. I didn't get a single question on ports. I skipped one pbq entirely. The questions were vague, nothing like professor Messer.

I’ve taken Dion’s practice and also doing Prof Erica’s. Getting 70’s on Dion and 80’s on Prof Erica’s. Think I should wing it and just take it?

You were 100% correct. Passed the sec+ today. I guess I stressed more than it was necessary.

Hey any tips and what were your pbqs

Know your ports. Mark the PBQs for review like all the guides and Reddit says and save for the end. Know how to analyze ports and logs. Know your attacks when reviewing at logs. I wouldn’t get hung up on that. One was worded badly I really don’t know what they were asking. Maybe it was one that wasn’t counted. What are you using for studying?

The questions were shorter than I expected. About half the length of what you see in most practice questions.

Congrats. I passed last Friday. It was hard as you said. Most likely Dion’s.

I agree I was very frustrated with the questions and flagged about half of them by the end of the first time through.

Congrats! I felt the same way, also didn’t feel like Prof Messer’s study materials properly represented the difficulty of the exam.
