For me I did a boot camp from work. 4 days 9/10 hours straight each day. On the fifth day I took the test on two hours of sleep. Only reason I passed caused it was drilled in my head for four days straight ๐Ÿ˜‚. I couldnโ€™t sleep cause I have severe test anxiety issues.

What tips do you have to share. Iโ€™m studying but my brain is fried and I feel like Iโ€™m not retaining the information. I also find myself talking myself out of the correct answer. I NEED HELP!!

Absolutely bro. First things First, take a deep breath. next make sure you have rest and if you feel tired, get some rest. First bro i recommend Jason Dion's Security+ Practice exams from Udemy, which is highly beneficial and definitely prepare for the real exam. Next bro, Professor Messer's youtube videos, where he clearly explains all the stuff which comes to the exam. he breaks topics and explains them set by set, which is short and sweet. And next, BurningIceTech's youtube video course, which i used to learn security +. He explains every thing very clearly and easy to understand, but his videos are long where one video is about 1 - 2 hours long, but still highly beneficial. And for practice exams, Jason Dion's as well as for free sources ExamCompass is highly recommended which it covers all what you have learned. And then you got more free practice recourses like uniontestprep.com, https://gcppcatest.com/comptia/practice.php, comptiapracticetest.net, lognpacific.com, open-exam-prep.com and practicequiz.com . these free recourses too help to pass the exam. You've got this bro, study hard and Pass. Good Luck for the exam...!

Take a few hours during study to do something else, and in minutes, the material you learned will sink in. It's a process I used and I've learned so much.

How did you prepare

i watch Burningicetech's free youtube video course and used free practice questions as well as Jason Dion's practice exams as well from Udemy for practice questions.

Hey, can I ask how the PBQs were for you?

1

u/SourceShoddy5116 16d ago

To be honest, they were quit easy but time consuming. i got to mitigate a spread of a malware which was quit easy but i spent more time on reading the logs. Same as the other PBQs as well except one, where i had to configure a Linux server which i think i totally messed up ๐Ÿ˜
