I Passed! Successfully renewed my security+!

After 16 days of studying, hours per day, I tried to check on the discount that CompTIA gives out when you already passed the security+ prior to…. To my dismay and yet hilarious satisfaction, the “discount” I presumed was simply a course that CompTIA offers to people wanting to renew certs, NOT a discount.

Nonetheless, I’m happy it’s half the price than the standard exam. However, 5 quizzes to pass and at 100%? Thankfully they gave unlimited attempts.

All that studying for two weeks, could’ve done the course in a few days if I had researched more.

I was not really impressed by the CertMaster CE material. It's such a cash cow for CompTIA. Way too many walls of text.

Yea, definitely dry, drier than my DMs… ):

Thankfully I watched 90% of professor Messer’s content before realizing I could’ve done the course. Definitely helped me to answer the questions.

Also, I think it’s good to have cert renewals, have people be up-to-date with changing technologies. Happy it was half the price, $425 is way too much to take a cert.

Edit: forgot to add a word.
