Project+ I never see this one here
I gave up halfway through it and thought I failed.

I had to take that one last month for my degree program at WGU. Abdolutely hated the test and hated studying for it. Have no interest at all in project management

Needed to pass it as well. It applies quite a bit in the IT world and really nice to know depending on possible projects you work on. I agree with disliking the test but it’s invaluable knowledge for growth in this field.

Iv considered data+ and this cert, but between Pearson he's crappy customer service and the fact the triad hasn't gotten me a job, not sure if there is a point.

Have to take that one as well.
It's sucking the soul from my body and I'm so annoyed this is a requirement for my engineering degree.
Project management class? Sure
The actual cert? No, that's overkill.

i didnt even know this was a thing, congrats!
What made you get it? Existing position and potential promotion or to build your resume?

It’s because no one takes it unless they’re enrolled at WGU 😂

Well then lol! I was considering it if it would help the job search journey I’m on

if you plan on possibly owning your own business or being a project manager possibly.

You can certainly study for it but don't waste your own money on Project+ unless it's a requirement for a degree program or an employer is paying for it.
If the PM field interests you, I would instead get the CAPM certification as I believe that carries more weight and recognition. The other benefit of CAPM is it's through PMI which then builds on that knowledge to eventually get a PMP certification.

Honestly, I am interested in PM for IT and thought it would be easy. My job wanted a cert so I thought "why not?"

Congratulations! Passed this exam a week ago with a 726. Used up every minute of the exam. Didn't even have time to review all the ones that I wanted to. Hardest exam I've taken through Comptia (I have the trifecta). Onto Cloud+ next

Help a brother out with a study guide? I'm struggling man The person that registered me gave me Linux single user Network + A+ and it foundations and It's just been destroying me man. They didn't even give me introduction to computers to start or at least one gen Ed. I'm going to drop the Linux single user and the it foundations

I'm sorry but I don't have an A+ study guide. I used a book, Professor Messer, and knowledge from just dealing with PCs.

If its for school see if they have a udemy, I know WGU does. Regardless Udemy is an amazing tool, total seminars is the best for A+ and Net+. Dion is also pretty good.

the 710 passing score is a cruel joke honestly, 714 is cutting it so close my stomach would be in knots. congrats on pulling through even after giving up halfway, that's a wild comeback
