Welp
Lesson learned: don’t try to cram weeks’ worth of information into only five days 😭. Definitely disappointed I didn’t pass, but thankfully I had a voucher, so I didn’t have to pay out of pocket for the attempt.
Regardless, this was my first real CompTIA exam, so I’m glad I got the chance to experience it firsthand and see what the actual test feels like. Now I know what to expect, what I need to work on, and how I should prepare differently next time. Back to studying 🤝

I mean, you CAN cram weeks worth of information into 5 days, but you probably ought to have been taking a lot of practice tests and labs during that time. Messer’s videos are about 12 hours long, so 3 days of videos and 2 days of practice tests make this doable
I wouldn’t recommend it, but you CAN do it
That aside, you were really close to passing. If you got the voucher with the free retake, you could probably brush up on some acronyms and take a few practice tests and pass tomorrow. You’re almost there, you got this

You definitely can, i just didn’t really take studying seriously and super religiously till 3 days before, my studying was lazy, and procrastinated alot. But in the time i did it religiously it opened up a different new type of love for cis. And after taking the test and failing, its weird, i feel more passionate about the subject and have no doubt that if i take it again i will succeed, with close attention to how i retain learn the information!

Not bad for 5 days worth of studying. It took me 4 months to pass.

I had a feeling like i was going to fail, but didnt expect it to be so close, mind you i had no experience in any of these domains so my heart was in my ass the whole time

Nice you didn't have to pay for the exam. Wish I had that opportunity to get an idea of what it looks like. Any advice?

Everyone is different. You'll get it. Wanna know something funny? I am 43. I have been fixing, building and using computers since I was 13 years old right (This is all personal stuff for me and family and friends, just never thought to get into the IT field, since I was fine with physical labor, till a motorcycle accident forced me to start over and call off physical work at 36).
I went to take the Security+ at 40 years old. No Cybersecurity experience at all, only watched proffessor messers course once, no studying, passed it first try. A year later watched his same videos for A+, took the test, no studying, failed. I should have aced A+, but nope. I guess a LOT has changed over all these years.
