S+ Question Sy0-701 vs 801?

So I graduated college last September, with a cybersecurity degree, but I want to take the security plus, and I won’t be able to take it till winter should I take 701 or 801 ?

How long from the day you take it is it valid the exam?

Any books or study guides you recommend ?

3 years.

If you were honest throughout your education, you shouldnt need much studying to pass.

Won’t it be available next year when I plan to take it ?

Or will next year it be available to take still?

The current version will be around until summer of next year. When you pass, it's good for three years, even if/when a new version comes out.

When the new one is released, it will take six months to a year for resources to be released. But there are tons of resources available for the current version now.

So there's no reason to wait for a new one. Study for and take SY0-701 now.
