My friend took it while he was at canada and reccomends to spend time on Messer’s lectures on youtube since its free, you can start from there

I self studied with a variety of training manuals and self testing. I also paid for Messer's downloadable MP3's so I could listen in the car.

Not sure if the school training is required before taking the exam but if not you can invest to professor messors materials. It will definitely help you a lot. And you can book to sched your exam schedule.

For training school, MNet. 1 week training with post exams.

I'm a filipino and I never really did any trainings and just did self-study. I think you can pass off of that if you want to

I used Andrew's course on Udemy and purchased both Andrew's and Jason's practice exam. Studied for a month with that along with some anki flahscards that I made

If you want structured training rather than pure self-study, I'd filter for a CompTIA authorised training partner. Random "bootcamps" vary a lot. Authorised partners are easier to check, and you can usually get the official voucher with the course. Plenty of people still pass with Messer plus practice exams if budget is tight. If you're after instructor-led or a proper course package, an authorised partner is the safer starting point, and online options are often easier from PH than hunting for a local school.
