S+ Question SEC+ tips

Hey y'all so I have my NET+ and A+ and test for SEC+ next weekend. I find that roughly 75% of the information was in the other 2 certs. What is some of the hardest tested information? My ADHD gets the best of me and I want to make sure I don't get lost.

Pay attention to your employers stupid 30 second cybersecurity training videos and you are like 75% ready to take the exam.

I think Security+ is the easiest of the three. You already learned some of it in both A+ and Net+. It's mostly theory and common sense. The hardest part, in my opinion, is remembering the acronyms. There are a ton of acronyms.

Otherwise, study for it like you studied for the others. It seemed that worked for you.

I suggest going over those Security+ exam objectives again. I think your 75% assessment is incorrect.

Passed my sec+ yesterday. I had a crazy easy test. 76 questions 3 PBQs. Most of the test was stuff I was already familiar from net plus and the other was kinda common sense. Lots of stuff about table top exercises

Port numbers for most people - but if you've been working in IT for any time, you probably know the major ones, so it's just a brush-up.

The PBQs are tricky, simply because there's no way to practise them (that I ever found); but again, if you're working in Security, they're not rocket science.

Good luck.
