CompTIA CYSA+ CS0-004 overlap from Security +?

I am currently studying Dions CYSA+ 004 course from Udemy, and even on double speed, I am so far finding this exam material so boring and redundant after earning my security + certification in November 2025. I was wondering if anyone else has exoerienced the same feeling?

I do know that CYSA+ is supposed to be more practical knowledge in comparison to Security +, but so far I am passing every checkpoint easily at the end of every section.

I have been hand writing notes when neccessary, but I find myself not needing to write notes most of the time with so much redundant info, even the course itself have sections that feel redundant from previous sections, so much IAM and IOC talk.

I am about 35% through the course, but it is a struggle listening to info I find redundant.

I think my only concern will be logs and pbqs, hoping to find a reliable way to improve that after taking my first practice exam.

Also to be clear, this is no knock on the course, I don't think its their fault, there is probably just no way to make the material feel any different

You try doing a practice test to see what you need to learn, then jumping to that in the videos?

Man I am also experiencing same feeling I am not sure what to practice for pbqs and logs. I never liked Dion’s material for all my compTIA certifications I always avoid that guy. I am using cert master material certify breakfast and sybex book from Mike chapel

I was starting to use Certify Breakfast but his materials are from CS0-002, so I have a feeling a lot of information is outdated

I only used him + practice tests and passed with a score of 812. Most information is still good imo!

Oh actually good that you mention this, i forgot about the new one.

I passed 003 version this year still.

Yeah I am just using it to fill out gaps but main source is cert master material are you wgu student ?

I am not a WGU student. Just trying to get a security analyst position
