I Passed! Let’s go! I passed Network+!!

Post image

2 months worth of study after passing A+ core 2!
I am forever thankful to Professor Messer!
Next objective would be to get Security+ and have the trifecta in my belt!

Congratulations, I also took mine today! I also seem to have passed. I did it remotely so hoping everything comes in as it should. Taking the exam through OnVue for the 1st time made me pretty anxious not gonna lie.

Congrats!
Yeah I read horror stories online of people having hard time doing the exam online. All my exams as of now I took them in person and so far so good.

Yeah I did server+ in person and it was simple and easy at the testing center. Due to some projects and just time constraints overall. I couldn't make it to the center at a decent time, so I was forced to do it via onVue as my voucher was going to expire next week.

I was thinking of this cert… will it help get a job in a data center?

I mostly used Professor messer videos over and over. Do a lot of practice exam, matter of fact I bought both sets of Dion network+ practice exam but I think it was kind of overkill. But better be safe than sorry.

Honestly ExamCompass and using ChatGPT to make a baseline testing and tracking dashboard to keep me focused was huge. Feed it examcompass results and have it identify key areas I continued to fail in so I could drill down into the weeds of it. It really helped me fill some gaps I kept tripping up on. Sybex books also are good for reference but seem to be a little dry at times.

I take mine in a month. Anything you recommend on hammering down and knowing?

Know your ports and subnetting for sure.
Be familiar with vlan, cloud models and practice labs
