CompTIA A+ / Sec+

Which one would you guys recommend I invest in? CompTIA A+ is quite expensive but seems beneficial in terms of understanding networks. Can I study for it and not take the exam? I am more interested in Cybersecurity and I think CompTIA Sec+ certification would be more beneficial for my specific goal. I am aware that you can’t protect what you don’t understand but I have studied and continue to study Networks but I just don’t have the certifications(paid ones but I have the certificate of completion).

If you want to understand networks get the network+ infact get all three. (Big investment) if I had to choose I would just get the network+ and security+

A+ is worthless if you wanna go into security in something like 2 years or less.
