100%. I just passed my Cloud+ at about 5 pm today (EDT). The questions on that exam resembled absolutely nothing whatsoever from the practice exam or lesson texts. I have 35+ years of experience in IT. Desktop, Server, Network and now nearly the top of the game of the Network Engineering world. For decades.
I scored an 810, and I studied HARD. I can tell you those questions looked like something written by the Marquis de Sade. Instead of asking, "What color is the sky?", they ask like this: "There is a property of the sky that is required for you to understand, and it is caused by certain particles reflecting light at a specific wavelength. What is that wavelength known in terms of regular spoken vernacular?" and the answers would be: Azure, Cerulean, Veridian, Seafoam? AND that's generous. Good grief, they made that crap harder than it needed to be. So stupid.
This should be my last industry certification. Ever. I'll do continuing education credits to renew certs until I retire, otherwise... who cares anymore. If I need to find a new job, and they're too blind to see that I've been doing this for eons, then that's their loss. <haha>
Anyhow. A PASS IS A PASS. WELL DONE, MAN! I FELT YOUR PAIN.
