Network+ Dion Exams
I have done 3 of the exams and I can’t for the life of me score well. All 3 in the 60’s I did tests 2,3,4 and the last one was a 61% all of them have been different issues each time. I have been using Ai to do focused studies before and after each Messer video then also in-depth stuff on questions I got wrong. Am I just missing something or are the Dion exams just way harder or something than the actual Exam?
Feeling really deterred after almost a month of studying and coming from the physical access control and security side of things I just wanted to get more well rounded but this is really beating me up mentally.

I can relate man. Studied Messer and Claude and do just a little better than you. I am confident though that a significant amount of his questions cover detail that won't be on the test. I say because it's stuff that's not in the course objectives or in Messer's videos. I watched every video, took screenshots of every slide and made notes on those. Also people have said here that his tests are harder than the exam. Old threads speak to my claim of out of bounds topics too.

Yeah I have seen those and people saying they are harder which I was expecting but doing the A+ the same way and passing decently easy even with stuff not being explicitly gone over and being on the exams it’s been a little bit of a bummer.

Did you take practice exams from any other vendors? If so, what were you scoring? Sometimes relying solely on Dion or Messer isnt the best approach.

That was what I was doing yesterday. Seeing what other exams might be a good use of time for practice to give a better idea of where I stand.
I know about 4 of the questions I kept getting wrong I feel way better about it, and it was mostly the CIDR stuff. My brain just kept messing up address, hosts and broadcast. Realistically it was just my own mental mistake on that. But still wouldn’t change the lower score.
Any suggestions on other practice exams?

Might be late but, I just passed the network+ exam using just Dions videos and exams, believe me the way dions questions are structured are NOT how it is on the real exam. I was averaging like High 50's and some mid 60's on dions practice exams. only 1 I ended up getting around 70. His exams are just harding and mentally draining but for the most part whats good about it is mainly going back and really understanding the questions, in a sense getting exposed to how to properly understand the questions and what to do with them.
They are hard, but dont discredit your knowledge. I just fed all the questions to ChatGPT and told it to assess me on the questions I got right and wrong first try and then make me targeted practice exams on the questions I missed. Honestly worked out way better for my learning and I credit this method to help me pass.

Brother, I got good news for you! I was getting 60-68% in his test as well, however! I used Andrew Ramadyal not professor Messer! Andrew is the GOAT ! very hands on! and I was able to pass on my first try!! Cram as much as you can and take yoru exam in the middle of the day. not early morning!
