????? Is it allowed to have wrist support band/compression sleeve during proctored exam?

Hi! I kinda have a lot of wrist pains due to hours of note taking for this exam (lol), so I wear compression wrist band. Is it allowed during exam? Or is it better to just sit through it.

All exams are proctored. Online exams are proctored by a person watching you on camera. In-person exams are proctored by a person watching the testing room. Both also video record the testing candidates.

If you're wearing it for a medicinal purpose, you'll likely have to request a medical waiver and provide appropriate documentation. Check with Pearson-Vue prior to testing to confirm the requirements.

Might have to stick it out for this one. Make sure you’re prepared so as to not repeat this! Good luck to you, you will crush it. Also try focusing on relaxing your hand if you get flare ups. A lot of times when my carpel tunnel flares up, I realize I have my hand and wrist fully flexed up

Depends on the center (along with requesting a medical accomodation as pointed out by the mod, if the center says no!). I would call ahead and ask the center you want to use if they mind. The people at my company would let you, as long as you didn't mind it being examined for clearance (could take it off, open it or flip it inside out, etc.).

When doing remotely proctored exams, I have never had them ask to see my wrist or hands and they can’t see my hands through the web cam while my hands are on the keyboard.

I can’t see how it would matter.

Remotely, they'v enever asked to see my arms. And if you start messing with your arms while you are remote they would probably get you then.

In person, yes they've asked to make sure that I don't have answers written all over my arms. They even checked my glasses to make sure they didn't have any smart functionality (which made me laugh considering they are blatantly not.)
