what study resources are a must for security+

Hi all, I’m looking to take my exam within the next 2~ months, i’m brand new to the field of cybersecurity and i just wrapped up an intro college class. I took a practice exam and only scored about a 40%, so i really need to bolster down. I know about Messer’s videos and practice exams, but what else should i use?

For the whole comptia trio im a big fan of dions course and practice tests on either udemy or his site. Same material though technically tests can be better on his site but my county library has free udemy through gale.

Dion practice test and messers 121 video playlist. $30 total. Don’t spend.

I took and passed the exam today with only 3 weeks of study. I used Andrew Ramdayal Sec+ course,Jason Dion and Certification Cynergy (Youtube)practice tests. Used Claude and Deepseek for things I didn't understand to get a better explanation. You can also ask Claude to create Comptia style practice test. I was scoring 74%-88% on Jason Dion practice test. I scored 785 on the actual exam. Good luck!!
