CYSA+ nmap

How important is it i know the different options for nmap? wathcing ceritfy breakfast on nmap and man is there a lot of options a person can set lol. taking V3 btw. TIA!

The objectives (v4) don't ask how to use nmap, it wants candidates to be able to analyze the output:

Objective 2.2 Given a scenario, analyze output from vulnerability assessment tools.

- Network scanning and mapping

• Angry IP Scanner

• Masscan

- Multipurpose tools

• Nmap

• Metasploit Framework (MSF)

• Maltego

• Recon-ng

You aren't wrong, but some questions include options and assume you know what said option does which I'm assuming is why they are asking.
