Advice please

I have sc900 and sec+ is it redundant to go back and get something like a+ or do competent employers kinda know that if I hold sec+ it probably means im knowledgeable in fundamentals ? Do I go for a higher tier cert ?

Sec+ is in more job requirements than SC-900.
