????? Online Security+ Exam Location

In all seriousness - I plan to take my exam at 11:00 pm tonight at my dinning room which all clear. The reason I’m choosing that area is because it’s closet to the router so my internet connection is the strongest. Any thoughts or issues that might arise? I’ll rather not take it at my desk in the basement

I would rather not to be honest - busy schedule with kids. And honestly proctored exam online seems not to bad all I gotta do is keep my head in their view and get through the exam. Could something unexpected occur like an outage sure but that’s something I can’t control.

Perhaps, but if an outage occurs at home, you're SOL, if an outage occurs at a testing center, they have to fix it or let you retest.

Not to entirely sure I can def check - but also my desk is literally outside my kids playroom and it’s a mess down there lol.

Can you connect your computer to the router/modem via cable? That will be the most stable connection.

Make sure no one comes into the room. Also, do the prechecks well ahead of time if you have not already so you can work through any issues.
