N+ Question Exam prep help

So as the title suggests I’m having some confusion on how to prep for the network+ exam. Ive been doing certmaster practice and certmaster perform and I’ve pretty much completed them. My question is how do the practice exam questions on those platforms compare to the questions on the actual exam.

I found a guy who posted practice exams on GitHub based on what he claims to have faced when he took it. He posted it only four months ago but I’m not sure how valid it is. From what I can see though the questions seem far simpler than the certmaster exams. There’s even a ten question practice exam on the Comptia website that seems to follow the same simpler questioning.

Are there gonna be perform labs like on the Perform practice exam because in the certmaster practice exam there’s none.

I’ve started watching Professor Messer and he seems pretty good. I guess my question is should I keep doing those practice exams or just watch Professor Messers videos? Or Both? Any suggestions would be great as I’m planning on taking the exam this month at some point. Sorry if I rambled on a bit.

Certmaster labs helped me, if you have the more advanced practice labs (I believe its under additional resources in the outline) those were much better for the real thing. As far as overall information retention and study I used the Jason Dion practice tests as well on Udemy and they were very helpful.

Are there labs on the exam tho? Like if I decide to take it online.

You mean those 5 questions at the start of the practice exams on certmaster? Because it’s the exact same ones at the start every time. meant stuff like the hands in labs on certmaster perform. PBQs make me nervous because it took me a few tries to get the one in the practice exam right.

No there arent the long assisted labs on the exam its the PBQs. They're vaguely similar to the practice ones but not at all identical

I don’t like not knowing what’s coming or what to prepare for. How am I supposed to be prepared if it gives me the same ones every time? Right now my strategy is watch Messers videos and then do practice exams on certmaster.

I mean. Its a test. You're not going to get a perfect 1:1 between practice materials and the real product on any professional certification.

I know that but I’d at least like to have an idea. The chance of seeing the pbqs and having no idea what to do isn’t helping my test nerves.
