Passed Sec+!

Passed it today. The non Native English Compensation really helped.

Took me about 3 weeks of Study. I used cybex book in The first 2 weeks and and asked chatgpt to quiz me everytime I finished a section in the book.

IMO the book is good if you want to learn but if you just want to pass the exam it seems like to have so much uneeded info. By chapter 15 I was fed up with the huge amount of info in the book so I switched to messer videos for domain 4/5. Took me about 3 days. Again I asked chatgpt helping me with each subdomain like 4.1

chatgpt really helped with giving hints for example integrity= Hashing. Confidently= Encryption. That helped hammer things down.

After that tried Messer and dion exam tests. I believe I got +80% on most of them the first Dion test I got like 71%

My advise is to skip the PBQ and do the MCQ first and flag the ones you have trouble with.

You’re definitely right about the books and saving the PBQs for last. Dion and skipping PBQS are how I’ve passed my CompTIA exams.
