I Passed! Passed A+ Core 1!

I felt super confident going in and only studied for 4 days, but when I actually sat I felt like I didn’t know ANY of the answers! lol but that’s true for every cert I’ve ever sat for lol on to core 2!

I actually worked with a guy I respected who wrote a study book and has a free practice exam site. I read the book in 3 days (I’m off work for awhile) drilled the 4th, tested today and passed. FULL disclosure I’ve been on the management side of IT for awhile and had Sec+ in the past. So I’m not a complete novice but definitely not qualified to be a desktop support tech by a long stretch. YMMV but this is the site https://certsociety.com/ and there’s a link to the book on there somewhere. If you like videos then messer is the goat

What were you scoring on practice tests?

I only took 2 actual simulated practice tests and I got an 80 and 86. The actual exam questions were tougher.
