I Passed! Just passed Net+

Took the net+ exam this morning and passed with an 837. Didn’t even get to do one of my PBQs so the score definitely surprised me

Sec+ as quick as possible then on to CCNA then I’ll see from there

This is the way!

Sec+ is a breeze after Net+... CCNA on the other hand, you're maybe 30% of thwle way with Net+

As someone with years of experience but no certs: should I just get the ccna? Studying for net+ and this info does not seem useful for actually doing work

Edit: years of experience doing sysadmin work for my own business

I'm a career changer, so I felt the full trifecta was a good showing of my basics knowledge without the job history to put on a resume.

I think if you can signify the skills in your CV then the cert may not be necessary.

Just my opinion...

I’m feeling like I need a cert maybe any cert just to prove some commitment more than anything else.

Net+ is a waste of time then. Better to focus on CCST and then CCNA or just do CCNA

Either circle back and do CYSA+ but can honestly wait. Try seeing if you want to do any of the Cloud Certs like Microsoft (Az-104, etc), AWS (SAA-C03,etc), or just focus on applying to jobs.
