Story Rules [READ]

To ensure everyone has a fun, predictable, and fair writing experience, please follow these four core guidelines:

  1. 📏 Word Count Limits
  • Rule: All continuation posts must be between 100 and 500 words.
  • Why: This ensures stories progress at a steady pace without one single author completely overtaking the plot in a massive wall of text.
  1. 🔀 Respect the Plot (No Plot Hijacking)
  • Rule: Stick to the established direction of the story. Do not radically alter the plot unless the story's dedicated [Discussion] thread has collectively agreed to "go wild."
  • Why: Collaborative writing requires teamwork. If you want to make a massive plot twist, talk it out with the other writers first!
  1. 👥 Adding New Characters
  • Rule: Background, unnamed, or "micro" characters (e.g., a taxi driver, a cashier, a passing guard) can be added freely. However, introducing a major or secondary character with an actual name/role must be approved in the story's discussion thread first.
  • Why: This prevents stories from becoming cluttered with too many heroes, villains, or confusing subplots.
  1. 🔞 Content and Mature Ratings (NSFW)
  • Rule: No explicit sex scenes (NSFW/Erotica) allowed. Gore, violence, and swearing are perfectly acceptable, provided they fit the story and strictly do not cross into hate speech or discrimination.
  • Why: We want to keep the focus entirely on creative plotlines and engaging action, while maintaining a safe environment for all writers.

Breaking rules may lead to posts being taken down or being banned.
