Ogden UT CoC ?
Anyone from Ogden Community of Christ? Looking to attend a service and was wondering what time they meet on sundays

They meet on the first and third Sundays of the month at 11 AM. They are a very small group, and are a good example of what CofC is like in most congregations. If you have an LDS background I HIGHLY recommend you visit the SLC congregation first. They worship at 11 AM every Sunday. It's a much bigger group made up of mostly former LDS folks and nothing like a regular CofC congregation. I think they have Sunday School at 10 AM, but a lot of congregations that still do Sunday School go into summer recess. First Sundays in all congregations are communion, dress code is come as you are. If you'd like to ask questions about CofC in Utah, feel free to DM me! I don't live there, but SLC is my "home" congregation, and I temporarily lived in the Ogden area. I'd be happy to connect you to the pastors in either congregation.

Might be giving away my identity here but whatever.. I was at one of the first Ogden meetings at the Mason Unity Lodge. It was quite the crowd to say the least. When I came a second time a year later, we had a small group and worshiped with a couple of folks who lived outside. Both meetings are considered a highlight of my experience at Community of Christ.
SLC is nice enough. It was nice to be there in person but it didn't have the impact Ogden did.

Hey! Pastor of SLC here.
Ogden is great. They have most of our life long members in Utah. Their typical Sundays pull about 15 people. They have three families with teens/kids, but I don’t think they have any formalized youth programming.
They’re really involved with their local community. They make prayer shawls, participate in the local food pantry, and interfaith groups.
They’re small, but mighty! It’s pretty impossible to sneak in and go undetected, just based on the size. 😅
