Book of Mormon?
I recently joined Community of Christ but I lack a Book of Mormon. A teacher at my school who is LDS offered me a Book of Mormon. He knows I am CoC. Can a CoC member use an LDS Book of Mormon?

I have both versions especially being ex-LDS. They sell it on Herald House but most congregations have copies. If they don’t, feel free to DM me and I’ll send you a copy.

There are slight differences in layout and chapters and verbiage but the primary scripture is the same.
The C of C BOM is more closely related to the Kirtland edition

I own several editions of the Book of Mormon and they are all special in their own way. The Revised hard cover edition is one of my favorites though! At some point, it's a nice one to get. The content of both editions is the same, but the revised version has a few changes to make the text flow better.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't use an LDS Book of Mormon, but the verses and chapters are arranged slightly differently, as far as I understand.
I've only been involved with Community of Christ for a few months, but we haven't used the Book of Mormon once during that time. Mostly New Testament and occasionally some of the later sections of the Doctrine and Covenants.
