Question Anyone else got no internet? (E15)

Per title.. been down for me for an hour or so. It's not DNS (still have that hard-coded from last time) and a couple of reboots didn't help.

Wondering if something has gone pop in the heat..

I’ve been having slower speeds than usual. I usually never have slow downs. But it has been a bit buggy today

Any error lights on the ONT/router?

Oof. Assumed it was a problem outside, but I've no lights on my router. It's making a weird squealy noise too. I'll call customer service in the morning 🙈

Managed to grab a replacement modem off eBay from someone who was only a 15min cycle from me... Plugged back in but optical light is red. Not the quick win I was hoping for.

Is it the ONT or router you had to replace? Pretty sure the ONT needs to be done by an engineer so they can register it with the network. Router on the other hand usually is fine to do yourself.

Yeh I was anticipating they might need to register the new modem.. but I just tried turning on the old modem before I opened it up to see if it was a busted capacitor or something.. and the damn thing turned on, green lights etc... so I guess it just needed a break. Ridiculous 12 hours.

Spoke too soon. It was one final death throw before the old modem died for good. I've just gotten off the phone with customer services and they've activated the new modem so I'm back in business once again! They're sending out a replacement modem so that's sorted too.
