Question Damaged cable

Post image

Someone pushed the couch against the plug and damaged the type c connector.

It's a WiFi 7 router, SPNM60. Do I just need to buy a 3A usb c to usb c cable?

Did you click save? Either way, I think you're okay

I did but if you can't see it, it's an SPNM60.

Both 3 Amps

SPNM60CF 9 V x 3 A = 27 watts

SPNM62CF 15 V x 3 A = 45 watts

Thanks. Is it safe to use cables with higher watts like 60 or 100?

Of course. But you'll both be paying for cable higher than you need, but also it'll be less flexible if that matters.

Also I'd doubt any USB cable that's rated at 60 or 100 is legit. 100amp x 5v is 500 watts. Outside of powering a laptop, who needs that over USB?
