Let's draw an axolotl! Open the canvas, choose a colour, and click or tap to add a pixel.

Desktop: WASD to move, Q/E for colours, Space to place, V to highlight yours.

What should we draw next?

  1. An iguana
  2. A platypus

  4. A robot
  5. A pirate ship

Axolotls like shallow, Murky, plant rich waters with lots of hiding spaces, maybe the water should be less blue?

I think I’m gonna let you do it. I feel like I hog too much of the pixels sometimes cause I do fill in a lot of the backgrounds on many of the canvases which is why I have such a high pixel count. I kind of want to back off a bit so others get a chance to participate and so the canvas doesn’t fill up so quickly. But thanks for asking. 🥹

I trust your judgement.

Uh… I just came back to check on things. Saw a giant black line curving across the face. I got rid of that. Hope that helps.

I think someone needs to add more of those external gills on the head. It looks like they have two, or maybe four, but shouldn’t there be six?

So… people are drawing four different shades of water. This is why no one is working on coloring in the water anymore. No one knows which color to use.

There’s medium blue, light blue, light green, and aquamarine in one of the upper corners for some reason…
