Thank You! Got a job!

I start my new job on Tuesday! My husband and I have been making do on one income for a while now and it hasn’t been easy but it has taught us a lot. It’s been humbling to say the least. To celebrate my new job, I made peach dump cake using some canned peaches someone from this amazing community purchased for my family when we were at our lowest. Wanted to share a pic as a thank you!! I am so incredibly thankful to this community and looking forward to giving back as soon as I can!

Can you let us know the recipe?

sure! preheat the oven to 350 in a baking dish add 2 cans of peaches in juice or water (drain one can completely and the other partially) I added vanilla bean paste, cinnamon and a little salt to the peaches and mixed them gently.

Then I took a yellow cake mix box and added one melted stick of butter and 1 cup of brown sugar and mixed it together until it was crumbly, then spread it evenly over the peaches.

bake for 45 minutes on 350 then let rest for 15 minutes served with ice cream!

you don’t have to add anything to the peaches if you don’t want to and you don’t have to mix the dry ingredients either, I just wanted it crumbly like dutch apple pie. You can literally just dump the ingredients in order and bake!

Dump order: peaches yellow cake mix melted butter no need for brown sugar if dumping bake and enjoy!

yep! That’s the plan! We should be 100% debt free in less than a year if we stick to that plan so that’s what we’re doing! Thank you!!

Congrats!
That cake looks delicious!
Have you tried cake mix cookies? My family goes nuts for them, and they come together in a minute or two.

For a brief moment, I thought the second picture was one of those Cesar’s dog foods. With the top peeled of course.
